At a fraction of the price that apple sells for, it works. But it feels flimsy and it is not as good construction. But it syncs my device no problem.

I was happy to try this new product because of its design: retractable wires makes it easy to store and use. When I first used charger, it took some maneuvering to get it to start charging. After each time, it would take more and more effort to get it to work. I kept removing the pins from my iPhone, unsure of the connection. The battery indicator confirmed that it isn't charging at all. I find it a good theory in practice, but not for practical use. You're better off just using the wiring that came with your iPhone.

I bought four of this cables, they all work perfectly. In my opinion they are better than the original cables; they are longer, they have two release buttons and the end of the cable attached to the phone connector is flexible, not rigid as the original cables which tend to break easily if you are not careful. Some people have complained about not being able to sync or charge, if that's the case just send them back and get new ones!

I do not recommend buying this item from the seller. The adapter worked for a couple days then it will not charge my phone. It has a shortage. Only reason I did not ship back because it only cost $2. Wuld have cost more for me to return.
